When I went on my first listing appointment, I brought nothing but a legal notepad. I was ready to give it my all and be the best real estate agent I could be. That moment marked the beginning of a long journey. Since then, we have taken 1,200 listings. Each one reflects our experience, our structure, and our commitment to doing the job right.

A concept from a book I’m reading, The Five Types of Wealth, explains this clearly: “You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” This idea reflects exactly what we have built—a 162-point system developed over the last 21 years to make sure no detail is missed on any listing.

Hiring great people. We now have five people on our team, each with a specific role in the listing process. Their work ensures that nothing is overlooked. I remember what it was like to be a solo agent. I would constantly ask myself if I had forgotten something. I used a binder to track what I had done, what I missed, and what could be improved. Over time, we hired great people who helped refine the system and made it stronger with new ideas and better solutions.

Reaching our 1,200th milestone. After 21 years in business, we have taken 1,200 listings that we actually tracked, most of them in just the last seven years.
